Initial contact
2 Genestealer Swarms deploy from hidden cover, unknown how they hide thermal signatures
from scanners. Analysis of corpus remains is progressing (sample 0556.fhd.2)
Genestealer threat 12" from necron warriors, tactical placement of warriors behind
rock out crop shows basic intelligence present.

Genestealer unit designated 002 removed from viability by 2 units of warriors. Lord

2 Gaunt Swarm seeding spores itair dropped into warrior lines. Hive queen and carnifex
deployed near destroyers, thin membranous ectoderms provide glide potential to these
units.
1 x Tyranid warriors deploy in central quadrant of necron lines.
1 x Genestealer unit deploy in central location.
Adrenaline enhanced gaunts begin close combat with warrior troops. The seed drop and
adrenal stress has greatly reduced coordination and warrior losses are very limited, auto
repair of damaged units facilitates a zero casualty encounter.
10 Gaunts surround lord. Several systems in command module are damaged, but self repair
contains damage, adrenal stress and lord induced damage destroys all but 4 of the gaunt
threat.
Destroyers move to ensure carnifex is in optimum firing arch for gauss cannons, open fire.
The carnifex is unaffected by such weaponry. More data is required for gauss modification
to meet the carnifex/hive queen threat.
Immortals and Command relocate to advantageous battle lines and remove tyranid warrior
threat. Scarabs advance of genestealer line and with tactical precision greatly lesson the
threat of the unit. The programming of scarab units is functioning at 92% of tactical
expectations. |

Tyranid gaunts are over mutated and corpus analysis shows that the cardiac system is put
under great pressure, cerebral and thorasic organs are damaged by adrenaltoxosis.
Warrior units maintain combat, with several units too damaged to be of tactical use, these
units return to the collective.
Carnifex is engaged in close combat by skimmers, as is tyrant queen. Data on contact is
required by the collective.
Pattern dreadnought aa.00012.alpha engages carnifex. The power weapons enabled create
slight wounding. Armour is insufficient to fend off the powerful attacks of carnifex.
Hive queen is delayed by destroyer contact.
A single warrior recovered from a damaged destroyer is engaged in close data gathering
with a single gaunt, this appear to delay seeding of more gaunt swarms. |

Very few tyranid guants / genestealers remain, but a unit of warriors have returned to the
collective. Command and the immortals relocate to engaged hive queen with gauss weaponry.
Data suggests that this has little effect.
Single necro warrior desination r4326fsd.dhs.306 maintains combat with gaunt warrior.
Carnifex remains in combat with skimmers and pattern dreadnought. It is held at bay. This
delaying tactic appears to be the best hope until units of dreadnoughts become available. |

Hive queen and carnifex destroy dreadnought and destroyer skimmers. The CPU of each
teleports to collective for data analysis.
Immortals are engaged in close combat by queen, loss is unacceptable and unit and command
module relocate to tactical advantage position. Gauss fire remains at minimal impact vs
these creatures.
Necronwarriors fallback into cover position.
Tyranid gaunts, genestealers are destroyed.
Tyranid carnifex and hive queen remain on battle field.
Tactical data (atteched in data burst) gathered.
Imperial planet Tyfus is left to tyranid/imperial conflict. Data trackers attached to
carnifex and hive queen.

Assimilation Module 306 has fulfilled all tactical requirements and relocates to

Carnifex/HiveQueen require high energy weapons to lance through heavy dermal plating. Data
suggests a version of human lascannon/plasma cannon tech.
