Gary has only ever played Orks in 40K. He likes the opportunity for
modelling and converting the miniatures to get a unique army.
This army started life before the Ork Codex was released, and much of it
is unchanged from the army used in the 1999 Grand Tournament at GWs HQ in Nottingham. Some
of these models also appeared in a supporting article to the Ork Codex release in White
Dwarf magazine.

Tiny the Kommando Nob is a converted Ogryn. He
has an Ogryn's body, legs and arms and an Ork Nob's head. The rippa gun was replaced with
a choppa and slugga, and a backpack made from two Imperial tank rolls. inally a bobble hat
was modelled on with Milliput modelling putty.
This Nob is the Games Day special Edition Nob with one or two
changes. His huge shoota is made from the old Deathskull Loota model. The ammo crate that
the original model has his foot on was cut away and the Tallern casualty inserted.
I use a converted big trukk so that I can fit a mob
of ten boyz on board.
Naturally the Warboss insists on having an even bigger and better
trukk. This is one is made from two trukk kits and some tank tracks.

This big Lobba is scratch-built from various bits and pieces. The
basic chassis is two Gorka Morka gun platforms glued together. The gun mounting is made
from two big lugga worky bitz. The gun is from an Imperial tank. The foot plates are also
from a big lugga, and the wheels are trukk small wheels on sprue axles.
This big Zappa is made in the same way as the Lobba, but with an old
traktor kannon substituted for the Imperial gun, and small tracks made from the bits in a
gubbins bag.
