What is the Silver Membership Scheme?
It's a scheme we dreamed up with a view to achieving a number of things.
We wanted to
 increase the number of complete, painted armies in
the Club. And we wanted a collection of armies, army lists and players who were
ready to go when we needed people for tournaments, or to introduce a new member to the
Club. Silver Members get a number of benefits in recognition of their commitment and hard
work. We present each with a silver plated Gobstyk's member badge, they get preferential
entry into tournaments and events, and first pick of the nicest terrain in the Club. After
all, after painting their army up they want to be able to use it on a nice gaming table.
To become a Silver Member you have to:
Complete a fully painted 1500 point Warhammer 40K army or
Complete a fully painted 2000 point Warhammer Fantasy Battle army
Write a comprehensive, legal army list (probably using Army Builder)
Demonstrate an adequate knowledge of your chosen game system by playing
a game against an existing Silver Member.
