How to Fight A Game in the Ladder Campaign:
- Challenge someone else on the ladder to a game of Warhammer. Players are organised into
a pyramid structure as shown above. You may challenge anyone in the row above you, and you
can be challenged by anyone in the row below.
- The player you challenged MUST answer within 2 weeks, or you forfeit their position to
you. However a player does not have to fight the same person twice in a row, although a
rematch is allowed if both players agree to it.
- There is no set game for you to play. As long as you can agree, it is up to your
opponent and you to agree on what points and scenario to use before the battle. You
dont even have to use the same army every week, just as long as you play a game of
Warhammer. You can choose to use whatever rules you want, from allowing special characters
to playtesting your own weird and wonderful ideas. If you cant decide upon what sort
of game to play, use the standard rules given below.
- Play the game.
- Make sure one of the people running the campaign (either Joe or Sam) knows the result of
your battle.
- If you beat the person you challenged, you move into their row, and they fall down into
your row.
- Players unavailable for 4 weeks in a row, will be moved one row down each time.
Standard Rules:
Choose a 2000 point army from Ravening Hordes or a Warhammer Armies
book, with:
- No Special Characters
- Dogs of War units allowed as a Rare choice as discussed in WD251.
- A random scenario using the chart on page 197 of the Warhammer rulebook.
Joining the Ladder
You can join the ladder at any point, just find Joe or Sam and ask them
to add your name. You will start of on the bottom row, but with a few good results you
could be challenging for the top spot in no time! If you have any questions, or dont
quite understand whats going on, Joe and Sam are the people responsible for running
the ladder and will be happy to help you out.
