Pete beat Colin (but only by the skin of my teeth)
Tom & Kelly beat Azzy.
Tony beat Chris (Tony having lost all his other games, and Chris having won all his
others!)
Daz beat Gary (What!? An Imperial Victory?)
Michael beat Andy
Will beat Rick (Will continuing his 'dirty tricks' campaign and fielding orks, and I
really didn't know about this one!)
Of course Will's farseer was assassinated by the Dark Eldar in order to return control to
Archon Cinncinatus, first disciple of Lord Hexfathom.
Duels.
Played on the cool Star Trek arena (Thanks Neil)
Lord Hexfathom beat Colonel Kakki 2:1
Then in the duel of generals. (Hive Tyrant, Space Marine Force Commander, Archon, Avatar,
Necron Lord, Sister thingy)
Archon Cincinatus won the first one, with the Hive Tyrant a close second.
The Avatar won the second, with the Archon coming second after amazingly killing a hive
tyrant before the beast had chance to strike back!
Plot wise.
The Imperials managed to hold the heights open in order to evacuate their forces to the
space port, and off world. The aliens had no way of stopping them, but fortunately held
the city and the planetary defense grid, making exterminus impossible. Now the aliens must
pursue the Imperials to their campaign base world, and attempt to halt the whole invasion
before it gets off the ground. This is sure to be a bitter struggle against well built in
Imperial forces. More on this as it develops...
