Week 1:
the Aliens viewpoint

Oh dear oh dear,
I suppose I should start off with the positive. My Dark Eldar, allied rather strangely with Will's Eldar managed to utterly crush some citrus space marines in a Coup de Main in order to gain a foot hold in the Smokey City.

Tyranids helped me out by kicking Imperial Guard butt on Kitomer Knoll.

So my alien horde now has a foothold in two locations.

However, Space Marines won out in a close encounter against Orks in the Virgin Plains, Port Easley was taken and held by the Imperial Forces despite a desperate assault by Eldar. The Eldar patrol was wiped off the Withering Heights by a strong force of Imperial Guard. The only man who knows the true location of the Lost Shrine was rescued by the Catachan Jungle Fighters. And the Necrons failed to gain a foothold in the Industrial Park, due to a Blood Angel force forcing them to fade out.

But now that I have read the forces' army lists, I have a much better idea of what missions they'll be good at, so beware Gareth, we'll have you next week.

I think one of our main problems is that we aren't sure if we are facing low number high T good AS troops (SM) or high number, low T, poor AS troops (IG). My Eldar generals all took to the field with silly anti Space Marine forces, and promptly fought Imperial Guard, or a mission that involved moving.

Current 'score' Aliens hold 2 locations, the Imperium 5.

Next time!

Lord Hexfathom has spoken, so shall it be.
