Galaxy of Damnation!

This is the way things looked after the final 12th turn in the Club's Galaxy of Damnation campaign. Three months of battling scheming and plotting saw Will emerge as the overall victor with 13 campaign points, just pipping Neil to the post on 12. Gareth Hamilton's Imperial Guard managed to prevail in the final battle against the Tyranids, snatching a vital campaign point from Neil and pushing him into second place. Had Gareth's allies actually turned up (that's you, Brian) he could have gambled four campaign points and ended up on 9 points instead of 2. Still, that's Dark Angels for you - always off pursuing their own arcane purposes and leaving the poor old Guard to struggle on alone.

A special well done to Colin who came in 5th with his Lemon Marines without the aid of a beardy Blood Angels or Space Wolves army. And a special 'Yah boo sucks' to Pete, whose Warboss Kev blew up his own rebel base out of spite and never fully recovered.

My 'Man of the match' award goes to Neil and his Tyranid hoard, who swept through the galaxy from Alpha Primus, through Beta Primus and Gamma Secundus before eventually being stopped in Delta Secundus. The current army list combined with the campaign rules makes the Tyranids a formidable force which is in keeping with their background. Other players really need to ally together to stop the Tyranids in their tracks.
