Most of us play Games Workshop's range of games including:
Warhammer 40,000 is a sci-fi unit-level game set in a grim
far-future. The Empire of Mankind is ruled by a near-dead Emperor, maintained though an
arcane and bizarre life-support system on a sacred throne. The human universe is beset on
all sides by ferocious aliens - Orks, Eldar, Tyranids, Necrons, Chaos and Dark Eldar. The
Imperial Guard and Space Marines are in constant battle to maintain mankind's tenuous grip
on survival. Grim, dark and gothic.
Warhammer Fantasy Battles is a game of massed troops in a
quasi-medieval world setting. Wizards, magic, Orcs and Goblins characterise this world and
players build armies of Empire, Lizard Men, Bretonnian Knights, Elves, Skaven (rat-men),
and a variety of Chaotic and Undead races.
Necromunda is a skirmish game set in a nightmarish tower
world called Necromunda. Players raise a small gang of characters and fight other gangs
for territory and high-tech treasure. This game has a strong roleplay aspect to it as each
character develops individual skills and abilities which affect the gameplay.
BloodBowl is a game of fantasy football played by two opposing team who
bludgeon each other while trying to score that all important winning touchdown. Great fun,
why not join in our league "The Gobstykup" now in it's second year. Watch your
team's ability (or inability in some cases) grow as the season progresses.

Magic the Gathering is the classic CCG (Collectable
Card Game) with a massive following worldwide. Very easy to pick
up, difficult to master. |
StarWars Miniatures is a game based in the Starwars galaxy using
pre-painted models on large pre-printed gaming mats. If you are looking
for something new to play this game is for you.
Mordheim is another excellent skirmish game from GW. Collect &
grow your own gang of elite warriors to take on other gangs in the never
ending quest for Warp-stone & riches in the doomed city of Mordheim.
Warmachine is a small sized skirmish game pitting various warring
factions against each other in "Steam powered mayhem".
