Club Ambassador Role
Description
Overall Purpose
To promote the Club and
make sure the Club is represented at external events/meetings.
Specific
Responsibilities
- To represent the
Club’s interests at meetings of the GCN and with other gaming
organisations (Games Workshop, other clubs etc).
- Liaises with the
Club Secretary about maintaining a presence at external Club Events
(campaigns, leagues, tournaments, Games day etc), also about the running
of games in Games Workshop.
- Assume overall
responsibility for the Club website (monitoring the forum, taking care of
website adverts, updating content etc).
- Liaise with the Club
and Membership Secretaries about the production of
posters/newsletters/leaflets advertising the Club.
- Ensure the
appointment of a Club Captain for events such as the Club Challenge.
Delegation
These items may be
delegated to another Club Official if necessary. Club/shop games may be
delegated to any senior member.
Other
In recognition of the
personal expense associated with travelling to GCN meetings the Club
Ambassador is exempt from weekly membership fees. |
